The WZB-175 portable turbidity meter meets HJ 1075 and ISO 7027. Transmission, scattering, and 850 nm LED modes are available. Zeroing, changeover, and 6-point calibration from 0 to 2000 NTU are automatic. IP65 means it can withstand extreme weather. Lithium battery and USB dual power source allow long-term use. Surface water, industrial waste, drinking water, and other pollutants can be identified on site with the 2000 data store, USB transfer, and printing.

- Water industry: on-site inspection of water sources in water plants, inflow and outflow of sewage treatment plants, and water quality sampling at remote water stations;
- Industrial site: rapid detection of production wastewater discharge outlets in the chemical, printing and dyeing, and power industries, and on-site monitoring of circulating water turbidity;
- Livelihood scenario: Rapid screening of turbidity in swimming pool water, landscape water, and drinking water sources to ensure water safety.

Daily maintenance and precautions
Key points for operation and use
- Preparing samples Choose a haze-free turbidity bottle, rinse it with zero-turbidity water, then rinse the sample 2-3 times. Fill the bottle to the “+” mark and wipe out bubbles and fingerprints on the bottle wall;
- To calibrate, press “Zero / 0” to use automatic zero adjustment, then “Calibration / 7” to start the calibration procedure. Put standard samples in order of concentration, pick the standard value, and then click “OK.” Once it’s steady, wait one minute to calibrate;
- Put the sample bottle on the instrument’s line to measure and save data. When the reading stabilizes, press “Store /.” to save time, operator, etc. Optimize fluctuating data with “Average”.
- Export/print data: Connect the PC to REXDC2.0 software via USB cable to export data, or connect to an RS232-compatible serial printer to output current or historical measurement values.
Standard samples and battery maintenance
- Battery maintenance: It takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery when it is turned off, avoiding 24-hour uninterrupted charging; Full charge is required before long-term use, and charge for 15 minutes before reusing; The instrument should be kept away from high temperatures above 85 ℃ and flammable and explosive environments.
- Storage requirements: The mother liquor should be refrigerated at 4-8 ℃ and stored away from light. Diluted standard samples should be prepared as needed and cannot be stored for a long time.
