Installation

  • Take out the instrument, colorimetric tube, adapter and other accessories from the package.
  • Install the colorimetric tube adapter and light shield as instructed until they click into place.
  • Connect the Li-ion battery or USB power supply, then turn on the instrument.
  • Select the corresponding measurement method and preheat for 5–30 minutes before use.
  • Perform zero-setting with blank sample before formal calibration and measurement.

Maintenance

  • After each usage, clean the colorimetric tube or bottle with distilled water and make sure it doesn’t have any scratches, stains, or fingerprints on it.
  • Keep the instrument in a cool, dry spot that doesn’t get a lot of sunshine or heat.
  • Before storing the battery for a long time, make sure it is fully charged. To keep the battery healthy, charge it every three months.
  • To make sure the measurements are correct, calibrate the instrument with standard solutions on a regular basis.
  • Don’t take apart the instrument on your own. To get repairs and maintenance, call official service.

It can detect nearly 60 indicators including ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, residual chlorine, total chlorine, chromaticity, turbidity, ozone, hexavalent chromium, iron, manganese, copper, lead, arsenic, mercury, etc., and supports expansion and upgrading.

It is advisable to warm for 5 to 30 minutes after changing the measurement wavelength. It should also enable 1 to 5 point calibration and have clear instructions so that beginners may do it simply.

The device has a touch screen, is IP65 protected, runs on a lithium battery, is tiny and light, and can be used for outdoor testing without needing an external power source.
