
The Sino Inst TUF-2000S wall mounted ultrasonic flowmeter employs the principle of measuring time difference, and realises non-contact measurement of the flow of liquid in the pipeline using a variety of sensor installation methods such as external clamp, insertion and pipe section. The device allows bidirectional measurement in both directions, with Chinese and English LCD display, built-in large capacity data store, supports various output communications such as 4-20mA, pulse, RS485 etc. It can also be used with PT100 to achieve the heat measurement. Installation and use precautions
- Full pipe requirement: To be installed in a piece of pipe full of fluid, vertical or horizontal.
- Requirements for straight pipe sections: Upstream > 10D, Downstream ≥ 5D straight pipe segment, distant from interference sources such as valve, pump, elbow, frequency converter, etc.
- Avoid high points: Do not position vertical descending pipes at the highest point of the pipeline or with open exits to avoid accumulation of bubbles.
- Requirements for Pipe Material The pipe material must be dense and homogeneous. If the inner wall is extensively scaled, an insertable sensor is preferable.
- Temperature and pressure: The installation site temperature and pressure should be within the rated range of the sensor.
- Signal coupling. External clamp sensors require coupling agents to provide a tight connection to the pipe wall without any air bubble gaps.
