Installation precautions
- The test electrode is a two electrode type. Before installation, the electrode needs to be cleaned (washed with petroleum ether/anhydrous ethanol), tightened at the lower end of the sensor, and the red mark of the sensor should be aligned with the direction of water flow. It should be installed on the matching probe holder and the aviation plug should be waterproof;
- The probe should be completely immersed in the liquid being tested, avoiding installation in a stationary fluid. Laboratory testing should ensure that the fluid flow rate is consistent with the industrial site;
- After the probe is immersed in the medium, a stable stage should be reserved, and the initial hours of test data should not be taken as the true corrosion result of the system;
- The equipment is suitable for process fluids where the product of liquid resistivity and corrosion rate is less than 63.5. If the conditions are exceeded, the data can be corrected using the weight loss method.
Daily maintenance and calibration
- Instruments are precision equipment that should be protected from collisions, high temperatures, exposure to sunlight, moisture, and corrosive gases. Proper protection is required for industrial use;
- After the measurement is completed, unplug the electrode probe plug and clean the electrode regularly to prevent contamination and scaling from affecting the monitoring accuracy;
- It is strictly prohibited to disassemble the instrument by oneself. In case of abnormal data, the built-in calibration function can be used to recalibrate.
