Featured Applications
- In an environmental monitoring lab, we can trace dissolved oxygen levels in samples of surface, sewage, and drinking water to make sure they meet legal standards.
- Monitoring changes in dissolved oxygen for water quality research, allowing for numerous tracking modes and data storage, and making the data easier to understand.
- Students in chemistry and environmental science can learn about instruments that measure dissolved oxygen by doing activities with them.
- The Industrial Standard Inspection Laboratory swiftly discovers dissolved oxygen indicators in process water to make sure that the food, marine, and chemical industries are making high-quality products.

Daily maintenance and precautions
Installation and usage precautions
- Electrode installation: Clamp the dissolved oxygen electrode onto the electrode holder, insert the plug into the corresponding socket, and insert the temperature electrode (optional) into the dedicated socket to avoid brute force insertion and removal.
- Electrode pretreatment: Install the membrane cover before use, inject electrolyte and tighten to ensure that the film is in full contact with the platinum cathode without any solution barriers.
- Peripheral connection: Turn off the power before connecting the printer/PC.Set the baud rate of the printer to 9600bps, the number of data bits to 8, the number of stop bits to 1, and the number of parity checks to 0.
- Environmental requirements: The instrument should be well grounded to avoid corrosive gases, the interface should be kept clean and dry, and away from acid, alkali, and salt solutions.
- Measurement standard: When measuring, the sample should be stirred (manually shaken or using a stirrer) to avoid data deviation caused by local oxygen deficiency; Complete electrode polarization as required.
Key daily maintenance points
- Maintenance of electrodes: Soak in boiling and cooled distilled water when not in use and avoid sodium sulfite; Replace the electrolyte every two months and the membrane cover immediately if broken or contaminated. Repolarization and calibration follow replacement.
- When the silver anode goes black, polish it with 1000-grit sandpaper. If attached, wipe or lightly crush the platinum cathode with a soft tissue, rinse, and absorb dry.
- Instrument maintenance: Regularly wipe the casing and screen, do not disconnect the power supply for a long time, and store in a dry and ventilated environment.
- Data and Calibration: Regularly export backup data; After using the instrument for one year, it must be sent to the metrology department for retesting before it can continue to be used.
