Working Principle of Online pH/ORP Controller
How an online pH/ORP controller works?
The pH/ORP electrode makes mild electrical impulses by touching the solution and changing the hydrogen ion concentration (pH) and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP). The temperature sensor also picks up the temperature of the space around it.
Signal Processing: The controller’s built-in chip amplifies and filters raw signals, applying temperature compensation algorithms (supporting automatic PT1000/NTC10K recognition) to correct temperature effects on measurements.
Data Display and Calculation: Processed data displays real-time pH/ORP values and temperature on the screen while automatically comparing against preset alarm thresholds.
Output Control: If data exceeds thresholds, two sets of relays activate peripheral devices such as dosing pumps and alarms. Isolated 4-20mA outputs or communication interfaces transmit data to PLCs/monitoring platforms, completing the “monitoring-control-traceability” closed-loop system.
