Installation requirements
- Customized DN25 three-way installation, with standard internal wires, can be directly connected to the water intake circuit/circulating water pipeline;
- It is recommended to use a low inlet and high outlet water flow method, so that the water sample flows through the sensor from bottom to top to ensure sufficient measurement;
- Valves should be equipped at the three-way inlet to regulate the flow rate of the water sample, controlling the flow rate between 100-500L/h (recommended 200-500L/h);
- Outdoor installation requires sun protection and shielding to prevent direct sunlight from affecting measurement accuracy.
Wiring Definition
The sensor cable is a five colored wire with clear wire sequence, which can be directly connected to the controller/PLC. The 24V power supply ground and 4-20mA output ground are internally short circuited and can share the same grounding:
- Red: Power Supply+
- Blue: Power Supply-
- Yellow: 485-A
- Green: 485-B
- Black: 4-20mA positive pole
Note: Cables that do not require connection should be properly sealed with electrical tape to prevent short circuits; The external power supply needs to ensure a voltage within the range of 23-25VDC.
Daily maintenance and calibration
Routine maintenance
- Regular cleaning: Clean the front quartz glass piece once a month with a soft bristled brush to remove debris and accumulation; If the contamination is severe, 1% citric acid weak acid can be used for cleaning. It is forbidden to use organic solvents or strong acids for cleaning to avoid damaging the filter and glass sheet;
- Storage requirements: Avoid long-term storage in an environment above 37 ℃, and store in a dry, room temperature environment when idle;
- Cable protection: Make sure to waterproof the cable joints to avoid soaking in sewage and prevent signal failures.
Calibration operation
- Regularly use a fluorescent agent PTSA standard solution of 20-100ppb to detect sensor readings and check for any deviations;
- If the reading deviation exceeds the allowable range, rinse the measuring end of the sensor with deionized water first, and then recalibrate with standard PTSA solution to ensure measurement accuracy.
