Installation and wiring
Installation requirements
- 3/4NPT pipe thread immersion installation, ensuring that the measuring end is completely submerged in the water sample to be measured;
- Avoid strong water flow impact and dead corners of the tank to ensure sufficient contact between the water sample and the sensor;
- Only suitable for 5-8 pH water samples, water sample pretreatment is required if it exceeds the range.
Electrical wiring
- Standard 4-core twisted pair shielded wire, strictly check the wiring sequence before powering on to avoid equipment damage;
- Waterproof and anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out at the connection point, suitable for underwater, humid outdoor and other scenarios;
- Ensure stable power supply at 12-24VDC to prevent data drift caused by voltage fluctuations.
Maintenance and Calibration
Routine maintenance
- Regularly clean the measuring end with a soft bristled brush and distilled water to avoid scratching with hard objects, and use it after drying;
- Rinse the measuring end with distilled water before long-term discontinuation, dry it and store it in a dry and room temperature environment;
- Check the sealing of cable joints and reseal them promptly if they become loose or leak water.
Calibration operation
- Using the two-point calibration method, prepare two sets of fluoride ion standard solutions with low, medium, and high concentrations within the range of 0-1000mg/L;
- After rinsing the measuring end with distilled water, immerse it in two sets of standard solutions, and send calibration instructions to complete zero and slope calibration after the values stabilize;
- Calibrate once every 1-3 months under normal operating conditions, and shorten the calibration cycle for high pollution and high impurity water samples.
