The DSC-301W smart conductivity digital sensor is developed for traditional water treatment. It measures 1–5000 uS/cm using a very accurate detection method and an NTC10K automatic temperature compensation system. It is feasible to keep an eye on conductivity all the time in industrial production, environmental monitoring, and acid-base salt detection. It also works with the RS-485/Modbus RTU standard for communication. This inexpensive water quality conductivity sensor is flexible, easy to care for, and always gives the same results.

Installation and wiring
Installation requirements
- Allows top insertion, circulation, sinking, pipeline, and sidewall installation. No horizontal installation allowed; must be inclined at ≥ 15° angle.
- Installed in regions with mild water flow to avoid bubbles and turbulent flow. Minimum 2cm from the container bottom for the probe.
- Clean the probe with distilled water before installing it to avoid scratching the stainless steel sensing surface. Fix it securely and avoid shaking.
Electrical wiring (four wire system, color coded)
- Red wire: 24VDC Power (+)
- Black wire: GND Power (-)
- White wire: RS-485A
- Blue wire: RS-485B
After the wiring is completed, it is necessary to carefully check to confirm that there is no reverse or virtual connection, in order to avoid damaging the sensor after power on; Keep the wiring connections dry to prevent moisture.
Maintenance and Care
- Daily cleaning: Clean the probe attachment every 30 days, wipe with a soft damp cloth, and prohibit scratching the stainless steel surface with hard objects; Scaling can be cleaned with detergent or 0.5g/100ml dilute hydrochloric acid/dilute nitric acid.
- After cleaning, rinse with distilled water
Measurement precautions: Avoid measuring in areas with too many bubbles or turbulent water flow to reduce interference from external factors on the data - Calibration specifications: Calibration has been completed at the factory, and it is not recommended to calibrate randomly unless the measurement error exceeds the range; During calibration, use1413uS/cm standard buffer solution, with the probe at a distance of ≥ 2cm from the bottom. After the value stabilizes (about 3 minutes), send the calibration command
- Recovery delay: After cleaning and reinstalling the probe, it may take several minutes to several hours for the data to recover to its initial accuracy, which is a normal phenomenon
