Installation and wiring
Installation requirements
- Adopting immersion installation, fully immerse the sensor detection end into the water being tested, ensuring that the detection surface is in full contact with the water sample without obstruction;
- The installation location should avoid strong water flow impact, areas with large amounts of suspended solids accumulation, and dead corners of the tank body to prevent impurities from adhering and affecting measurement accuracy;
- After installation, keep the sensor fixed to avoid shaking, collision, and damage to internal components;
- Strict waterproof sealing treatment should be carried out at the wiring junction, and standard cables should be fixed to prevent pulling and damage, and to prevent water infiltration;
Maintenance and Calibration
Routine maintenance
- Regularly rinse the detection end with distilled water to remove suspended solids, algae and other impurities, and avoid blocking the detection surface;
- When there is scaling on the detection end, gently wipe and clean it with a soft cloth, and prohibit hard objects from scratching the detection components;
- Regularly check the waterproofing of cables and wiring connections, and promptly repair and handle any damages or looseness.
Calibration operation
- Using the two-point calibration method, the detection end must be cleaned thoroughly before calibration to ensure no impurities remain;
- Calibrate once every 1-3 months under normal operating conditions, and shorten the calibration cycle for high turbidity and high organic pollution water quality.
