The GRT1020T pH antimony electrode is made to work in situations where traditional pH electrodes often fail to meet the required specifications, such as when there is hydrofluoric acid in the solution or when a high level of mechanical strength is needed. Because of its long-lasting materials and unique compatibility with media, it has been the best choice for experts who need to keep an eye on pH levels in odd situations.

Core Product Advantages
High robustness, suitable for harsh environments
The GRT1020T sensor is made of antimony, which is hard and wear-resistant, making it suitable for testing environments with high requirements for sensor mechanical strength, such as mining and chemical industries. It is not easily damaged by external impacts or friction, allowing for long-term stable pH monitoring and reducing testing interruptions caused by equipment failure.
Highly Targeted, Exclusively for Hydrofluoric Acid Solution Testing
Conventional glass pH electrodes are easily corroded by hydrofluoric acid and cannot perform pH tests on related media. The GRT1020T electrode, however, can accurately and stably monitor the pH of hydrofluoric acid solutions, filling a gap in equipment for water quality testing of special fluoride systems and providing reliable data support for related processes.
Standardized interface for easy installation
The sensors are equipped with 3/4NPT standard threads, allowing for flexible selection of corresponding electrode sheaths or wire harnesses to complete assembly according to actual site requirements. This ensures compatibility with the installation interfaces of most industrial online testing equipment, significantly reducing the difficulty and time cost of on-site installation.
Scope of Application

- Core Applicable Scenarios: detecting the pH of solutions with hydrofluoric acid, keeping an eye on fluorinated chemical wastes, and controlling the pH of the fluoride manufacturing process solutions.
- General Applicable Scenarios: pH monitoring in different situations that need sensors that are strong enough to handle them, including finding the pH of mine wastewater that is quite abrasive and heavy industrial wastewater.
- Prohibited Situations: Solutions with parts that can react with antimony to create metal coatings or complicated ions, as well as solutions with heavy metals. These situations will cause the electrodes to fail and the test data to be wrong.
Usage, maintenance and precautions
Cleaning and Maintenance:
The sensor surface must be kept clean. If the antimony electrode surface becomes dark due to oxidation or has stains, gently polish it with fine sandpaper to remove the surface oxide layer and stains, restoring the sensor’s detection sensitivity. Be careful with the wiping pressure; apply light pressure to avoid damaging the electrode itself.
Contraindications:
If heavy metals or other ions that can form metal coatings or complexes with antimony are present in the solution being tested, this electrode cannot be used. In addition to producing erroneous test results, these substances will chemically react with the electrode, causing irreparable damage and drastically reducing its lifespan.
Putting in waterproofing
Use matching sheathing tubing or wire harness during installation to make sure it is done correctly. Since the connection between the sensor wire and the sensor isn’t waterproof, make sure to use special waterproof tape or sealant to seal this region well so that moisture can’t get in and short circuits or performance problems don’t happen in the internal parts.
