Key usage precautions
- Electrode maintenance: Avoid pulling the electrode cable, regularly clean the surface attachments of the electrode, and use the same electrode for calibration and measurement to ensure accuracy;
- Standard sample requirements: The concentration of the standard sample should be set in descending order, and the manually entered standard value should not be less than the previous calibration point. Diluted standard samples should be prepared as needed;
- Environmental requirements: Avoid placing the instrument in high temperatures, strong magnetic fields, or humid environments that may affect measurement stability;
- Password management: Passwords can be set in the “System Settings” to prevent unauthorized operations, and there is no password by default at the factory.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning the instrument casing and checking wiring terminals for oxidation daily; Weekly check electrode condition and wipe surface debris;
- Regular calibration: Zero point calibration should be done monthly and full range multi-point calibration every three months;
- The power supply and wiring should be checked first if the LCD does not light up or produce current. If it’s unsolvable, contact the manufacturer’s after-sales assistance. Don’t disassemble it yourself;
- When not in use, disconnect the power supply, store the electrodes, stow the instrument in a dry, ventilated environment, and recalibrate before reuse.
