Daily maintenance and precautions
Key usage precautions
- Maintenance of electrodes: Dry and waterproof cables and connectors reduce corrosion; circulate solution smoothly to prevent electrode core hole obstruction.
- When idle, clean before storing; To fix slight temperature or concentration concerns, utilize the after-sales service menu and password 1234.
- Set alarm high and low limits and hysteresis suitably to avoid relay starting and stopping. If the high alert value is 10% and the hysteresis is 0.5%, the alarm will sound when the concentration surpasses 10% and stop when it dips below 9.5%;
- If “OVER_LIMIT_SRROR” happens, examine solution concentration or electrode contact or failure.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning the instrument housing every day keeps dust and liquids from sticking to it. Check the electrical connections for rust and clean them right away. Check the electrodes once a month, clear any debris from the surface, and make sure that contamination doesn’t affect the measurement.
- It is best to calibrate every three to six months. When the measurement environment or data changes a lot, calibration is necessary;
- Change the electrode: If the electrode response is delayed and the calibration error is big, you should replace the fitted electrode. To replace it, you need to reenter and calibrate the electrode constant.
- Over time, you should not use the instrument again. Before you do, disconnect the power source, clean and store the electrodes, put the instrument in a dry, well-ventilated place, and check and calibrate the wiring.
