DO-PA100 portable fluorescent dissolved oxygen meter uses DO-02 electrode. Strong anti-interference, steady measuring, easy operation, and practical eye protection are its main benefits. The ink screen and night lighting make reading in bright and dark conditions easy.
It monitors dissolved oxygen concentration and temperature from 0-20mg/L simultaneously with automatic temperature correction, salinity setting, timed/real-time measuring mode, and replacement fluorescent film lasting over a year. It provides accurate dissolved oxygen data 24/7 for mobile aquaculture, outdoor water quality inspection, and environmental monitoring applications.

Core Highlights
- Fluorescence method is anti-interference, with stable measurement and long lifespan. The self-developed hard fluorescent film is scratch resistant and not easy to peel off.
- Ink screen eye protection, clear strong light, night backlight support, accurate reading both day and night.
- One click measurement+one point calibration, simple operation, easy for beginners to get started.
- It has both timed and real-time dual modes that may be changed to meet varied monitoring needs.
- Can set salinity, compatible with measuring multiple water bodies such as freshwater and seawater.
- Portable with float, fluorescent film can be replaced separately, low maintenance cost.
Featured Applications
- Aquaculture: day and night dissolved oxygen monitoring in fish ponds, shrimp ponds, crab ponds, etc. The night backlight function can quickly determine whether the dissolved oxygen in the water meets the standard, adjust the oxygenation strategy in a timely manner, and avoid damage to the cultured organisms due to hypoxia.
- Outdoor water quality inspection: Mobile monitoring of surface water, groundwater, small lakes, etc. Under bright light, the ink screen reads clearly, and the portable design allows rapid measurement at multiple locations, improving inspection efficiency.

- The environmental protection department samples and monitors outdoor water quality in real time to record dynamic changes in dissolved oxygen, providing accurate and anti-interference data that meets monitoring compliance requirements.
- Teaching and Research: Fluorescence technique principle is intuitive, easy to use, and helps students and researchers quickly collect valid data for outdoor water quality experiments.
Daily maintenance and precautions
Installation and usage precautions
- Before measuring, calibrate the instrument in the air. Check for water droplets or mud on the platinum measuring rod top. After beginning and stabilizing, press and hold “Calibration/Return” for more than 1 second, confirm, and calibrate. Set the calibration value between 99.0% and 101.0%.
- Specifications for installation and measurement Fix pipelines with 3/4 “standard threads; when handheld measuring, place the measuring rod head at the depth of the water layer to be measured (avoid touching the pool bottom) and swing the rod back, forth, left, and right to ensure stable measurement values.
- Salinity compensation setup: Switch to P6.2 parameter in setting mode, press the up and down buttons to adjust to actual water salinity (0.0ppt for freshwater aquaculture), confirm and save, then return to measurement mode.
- The instrument is not waterproof, therefore keep the metal joints dry. After usage, wipe dry with a tissue, open the instrument box lid, and dry in a cool, aired place. The sponge inside the portable box absorbs shock during transport, so remove it after using.
- Battery maintenance: Check battery box for water penetration regularly. Remove and dry the battery quickly if water enters; use without removing the battery to prevent leaking and instrument damage.
Key daily maintenance points
- Taking care of the electrolyte and membrane sleeve: If it has been used for more than a year, is broken, spills most of the electrolyte, or gives you weird measurement results, you should get a new one right away. Before replacing, wash your hands, stay away from oil, and stay away from electrolyte bubbles.
- Electrode cleaning: Wash the measuring rod top regularly with pure water. You can scrape reaction deposits around the silver tube with a blade or scissors, but not the top. If there is dirt on the top, scrape it off with your fingernail, then polish it with sandpaper and wipe it with gauze until it is shining and spherical.
- Instrument maintenance: Keep LCD display panel out of direct sunlight to prevent aging; store above 0 ℃ to prevent electrolyte freezing and probe head damage.
- Data and Calibration: Regularly export backup data; After using the instrument for one year, it must be sent to the metrology department for retesting before it can continue to be used.
